Wow, this is a great example of blogging giving power to those who have previously felt powerless. Blogging can be used for any purpose and in this case, for good or ill, was the downfall of an unpopular president. So I guess one of blogging's academic uses is to shine a spotlight on previously cloaked areas of academe. That's a pretty powerful thing.
